April 1st Craft Fair
Saturday, April 1st we will be having a craft fair at the Kensington Park Events Complex.
Directions to the Events Complex - If you want to us GPS the nearest address is 2207 Randa Blvd. that is the house next to the event Complex. From Lockwood Ridge Road use the Monica Parkway entrance then turn left on Randa Blvd.
From 17th Street use the Andrea Place entrance turn left on Monica Parkway then right on Randa Blvd.
You will see signs for the event to direct you.

If you or anyone you know have crafts to share or are an artist, have antiques, jewelry, garage sale items or any other interesting items to sell excluding fire arms, tobacco, alcohol or drugs.
There will be tables and chairs to sits and chat under shade umbrellas along with a few different musical guest to entertain you. We will have a few food trucks on hand for refreshments and lunch. An area to entertain the kids will also be setup.

Setup will begin at 8am and gates open 9am - 4pm. Booths will be 12ft x 12ft and will be $20 per booth. Applications close as of March 28th..
If you are interested in participating please click below to both order your booth and fill out the event release. Both must be completed In order to have a table at the fair.
April 4th Civic Association Meeting
Meetings are held at 7pm at Faith Presbyterian Church at 1201 N. Beneva Road. That is on the corner of Beneva Road and
12th Street in Room 106. You can enter on the far right front corner door. Room 106 in on the right.

April 22nd Sarasota County Sponsored Cleanup
If you are anything like me, you still some debris left over from the hurricane to dispose of and plenty of left overs from Spring cleaning that just needs to go.
​
As usual the dumpsters will be located in the easements under the FPL wires. Usually the claw truck is located on Prudence Drive between Melgert Lane and Sugar Lane. Hazardous materials such as paint, motor oil, TV's and other electronic are typically
collected on Tee Lane between Melgert Lane and Tee Road. There usually is a dumpster there for the collection of tires and other large items. The dumpster for collection of tree debris has been located on Randa Blvd between Monica Parkway and 27th Parkway for the last few years.

Mark your calendars, get rid of unwanted stuff and enjoy a cleaner yard and house!
